This 4-wheel drive club was formed in Fortuna in 1992 to promote safe, fun, and responsible outdoor recreation. It is host to an annual “River Bar Cleanup” that removes tons of garbage from the Fernbridge area along the Eel River. It is an annual participant in the Fortuna Rodeo Parade and works as volunteers for local events, such as the annual Truckers Christmas convoy Parade, Ferndale Great Kinetic Sculpture Race, etc. The club also hosts an annual "Lost Coast 4x4's Toy Run" to collect toys for underprivileged kids at Christmas time.
